- Our Guarantee
We are a licensed nursery so we are inspected by the WA Dept. of Ag. during bloom and at beginning of shipping season which allows us to send to all of the 48 continuous states. As far as other locations, feel free to ask and I can check.
**If an iris blooms wrong, please send us pictures of what bloomed for you instead and we can work on getting you a new one with the next dig season.
When we start digging, we'll go in order of the orders received. We plan to dig July into September. We dig the biggest of the ones available; however, the size varies between rhizomes. All rhizomes are trimmed, cleaned, bleached. and labeled. If there are any problems with your order, please contact us upon receipt of your order. We recommend planting the received rhizomes between July and October depending on your climate. If you live in an early winter climate, we recommend you plant as soon as possible so the rhizomes can get established before the first frost. If you live in a harsh summer climate with mild winters, we recommend you wait until September or October.
**Whereas iris survive fine out of the ground for awhile, the longer it takes to plant them, the long it takes for them to grow well and to bloom. I've had irises even winter in a shed that grew the next year - some a little and a few that even bloomed. However, if planted immidiately, a lot of them bloomed the first year.
- Shipping
Our shipping season is July and August. Rhizomes are not sealed in packaging until the day of shipping. We use USPS Ground Advantage and having tracking numbers. If you'd like us to use something else to get them faster, please let us know and we can figure out the shipping to do that.
- Substitutes and Refunds
We will never substitute any rhizomes in your order without your permission. Irises are on a first-come, first-serve basis. If for any reason, you need to cancel your order, it may be done up until the shipping process has begun. There will be a 5% fee on all cancelled orders due to unrecoverable expenses. We are not responsible for loss due to winter, soil conditions, or any other condition out of our control.
- Bonuses
We see bonuses as a thank you to all of our customers. We deeply appreciate each customer and their order. We send bonuses with orders as a sign of gratitude on orders over $50. We do our best to inspect each invoice and pick bonuses that we think each customer would appreciate. Please let us know in the comments if you prefer the same as ones you've ordered or want a surprise.
